Postdoctoral Positions

Postdoctoral positions are available for candidates with a PhD in condensed matter theory, electronic structure and materials theory, applied mathematics, or a related field. We are looking for researchers with strong background in numerical or analytical methods for quantum many-body systems, and an interest in developing new algorithms as well as applying them to physical problems. Positions are typically funded for three years.

PhD Positions

PhD positions are fully funded through the ERC Advanced grant Quantum Algorithms. PhD candidates join the Graduate School at the University of Warsaw. Further information is available at the physics department doctoral studies page.

Typical application timeline:

  1. Application to the Doctoral School: mid-April
  2. Recommendation letters: early June
  3. Interview and entrance exam: June–August
  4. Admission decisions: early August
  5. Start: late September

Master and Bachelor Students
